How the range fits together
The five flagship product ranges above cover the load path end to end. Steel wire rope (IWRC and fibre-core, cut to length) is the raw material most lifting and rigging assemblies start with. Wire rope terminated with thimbled eyes and swaged ferrules becomes a wire rope sling – load-rated, tagged and proof-tested in the Mossel Bay workshop. Where flexibility, chemical resistance or shock-loading matters more than the diameter, chain slings in Grade 80 / Grade 100 take over with master links and sling hooks to spec.
Connecting the sling to the load is where shackles and rigging hardware comes in – bow and dee shackles, screw-pin and bolt-type, galvanised and stainless, drawn from racked stock to suit the SWL and the environment. And working at height around the lift is where safety harnesses and fall-arrest equipment closes the system: full-body harnesses, lanyards, energy absorbers, the vertical / horizontal / temporary safety lines that keep the climbing crew compliant.
By sector
Each of the five product ranges is stocked in sector-appropriate variants. The Oil & Gas range leads on certified wire rope, lashing equipment and hoisting gear for offshore and onshore energy operations; Agriculture on cost-effective tensioning wire, chain and trellis hardware for farms, orchards and polytunnels; Fishing & Marine on trawl warps, mooring rope and marine hardware out of Mossel Bay harbour; and Forestry on cable, chain, firefighting and yarding fittings for harvesting and logging operations.
Stocked, terminated and certified in-house
Every product on this page is held in stock at 60 Bland Street, Mossel Bay – or made up in the workshop from stocked components inside the standard lead time. Wire rope is cut to the metre. Slings are assembled with the end terminations you specify and proof load tested against the regulatory regime that applies to the sector. Hardware is racked, picked and packed for collection or delivered across the Garden Route via the regular Mossel Bay → George → Knysna → Plettenberg Bay run. Custom configurations – bespoke sling sets, certified hardware kits, lashing assemblies – are quoted on the same day and built inside the working week on standard grades. Send the spec via the contact page and the workshop will come back with a price, a lead time and the proof-test schedule.
